Privacy Policy

nuAIOS is built to be private by design. The product is local-first: your AI operating system lives in files on your own machine, and your private business data, your API keys, client records, and financials, stays there. This policy explains the limited information our website and services do collect, and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Wait-list and contact: your email address when you join the wait-list or email us.
- Browser onboarding: public information about your business (for example your website, business name, services, and goals) used to personalize your download. The onboarding is designed to never ask for private information, your API keys, client records, and financials are added later, locally, and never sent to us.
- Account/export: if you choose to export to GitHub, we use an authorization token from your GitHub account solely to create your repository.
Information collected automatically
- Usage analytics: standard, privacy-respecting product analytics (pages viewed, basic device/browser info) to improve the site and product.
- Cookies: a beta invite cookie to remember your access, and analytics cookies. See “Cookies” below.
2. What we don’t collect
We don’t collect or store the private contents of your AI operating system, your API keys, your clients’ data, your financials, or your generated work. Those live on your machine and are never transmitted to us unless you explicitly choose to send something (for example, emailing support).
3. How we use information
- To provide and personalize the service, and to send you your beta code.
- To respond to your messages and provide support.
- To understand usage and improve the product.
- To send occasional product updates (you can opt out).
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of trusted processors to run the service, including hosting (Vercel), DNS and email routing (Cloudflare), our database for the wait-list (Supabase), AI features in the onboarding (OpenAI), and, in the future, payment processing (Stripe). Each handles data only as needed to provide its function.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies (for example, to remember a valid beta invite) and analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may limit access to the beta.
6. Data retention and your rights
We keep the information above only as long as needed for the purposes described, or as required by law. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@nuaios.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
7. Children
nuAIOS is for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will post the new version here with a revised date.
